Alan Nakata will speak on Elder Law. He will about the options for Medicare, care as
you age and chronic illnesses. He will also speak about Medicare planning, social security,

Richard Hughes is returning to the Senior Center to provide a free scrumptious meal
for all of our valued Senior Center participants. He will be preparing a Baked Chicken
dish with all the trimmings. Live music will be played and a good time will be had by

Come to learn about the New Cancer Recovery Program. Learn about the natural and the
alternative choices. Raven Jones is a 5 year cancer survivorand researcher. He has
used many of the alternative health practices you will learn about. He is a Certified
Ayurvedic Practicioner and author of the book "The New Cancer Recovery Program." Come
and hear what he has to say. | |

We will hear Tom Lubas, storyteller and President of the North Bay Civil War Round
Table. He will give an introduction of the famous and infamous participants of the
American Civil War. It is meant to be fun, so just sit back and enjoy the program. | |

Julie Smith, Sonoma County Physical Therapist, will speak on the Feldenkrais Method
to improve your mobility and balance. You can prevent
your balance from becoming poorer. If you already have poor balance, you can do
something to significantly improve it. Julie will explain and demonstrate an exercise
program called "Getting Grounded Gracefully" specifically designed to improve
balance in older people. Julie Smith graduated from the UCSF Physical Therapy Program
in 1985 and from UC Berkeley in 1975, Phi Beta Kappa and has been practicing in
Sonoma County for over 15 years. | |
