Tate Birnie - President
Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Stanford University, private law practice in Sebastopol focusing on trust and estate planning and family law; former law firm associate in Silicon Valley practicing intellectual property litigation; Sonoma County Bar Association member; formerly law clerk for the honorable Marilyn L. Huff, United States District Court for the Southern District of California; formerly law clerk for legal services of Northern California, a non-profit legal aid organization; formerly law clerk for Department of Justice, Civil Appellate Division; past President of Stanford Public Interest Law Foundation, a non-profit grant foundation for public interest legal work; AmeriCorp leader for summerbridge, a non-profit summer program for at-risk youth.

Kent Seegmiller - Vice President
BA degree in Education. Taught school for five years, before embarking on a career with IBM for 25 years. Retired from IBM and spent the next six years working for an IBM distributor. Community involvement includes twenty years as a member of Rotary. Past President of the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa Sunrise and the Rotary Club of Sebastopol. Also, a member of the Board of Directors of the Sebastopol Rotary Education Foundation, Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation, and Village Hopecore International.

Phil Aaron - Secretary
Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Stanford University, private practice of law for 38 years, now semi-retired.  Served in many positions of Kiwanis International including Club President, Division Lt. Governor, and various District positions.  Past member of Board of Directors of March of Dimes, Northern California Region.  One of the founders and presently Board of Directors of Kids One, Inc., a non-profit child safety organization.  Former Director of Salvation Army and former Director of San Mateo County Legal Aid Society, and San Mateo County Bar Association.

Jim Coconas - Treasurer
Investment and management consultant.  Long-term association with True to Life Children's Services.  Member of Sebastopol Kiwanis Club.

Linda Rouse – Immediate Past President

Real Estate agent with a designation as Senior Real Estate Specialist, Board of Directors of Sebastopol Downtown Association, Lung Association Volunteer, Former Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, former member of Board of Connections, a forum for women in business.  Has worked in Health Care for many years.

Rocky Camp
Veterinarian, Owner Analy Veterinary Hospital
Dr. Camp is originally from Bakersfield, California but spent much of his childhood in the Los Angeles area. He received Bachelor's degrees in the double majors of Organic Chemistry and Zoological Sciences at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.  Dr. Camp attended the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and received his doctorate in 1979. He then went on to private practice for a few years and returned to the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine with an NIH fellowship and completed a Residency and Master's program in General Pathology in 1982.  Dr. Camp purchased Analy Veterinary Hospital in 1983 and has been living in Sebastopol ever since. In addition to general small animal medicine, his interests include avian and exotic pet medicine, pathology, and surgery.

Helaine Campbell
Registered Nurse specializing in geriatric care.  Independent contractor providing education for Nursing Assistants in long term care facilities.  Also provides consulting services for long term care facilities in the area of Quality Management.  Has held the position of Director of Nursing at four Skilled Nursing Facilities in Sonoma County.

Phyllis Clement
Retired Social Worker, formerly an active volunteer in PTA, League of Women Voters, Meals on Wheels and other organizations in Berkeley. In the last ten years active in Sebastopol Newcomers, League of Women Voters of Sonoma County and Impact. Currently on the board of Palm Drive Health Care Foundation.

Bill Cole
Graduated from University of Evansville (IN)  with BA 1962, Indiana University Medical School 1966, internship San Bernardino CA General Hospital 1966-67, residency in Anesthesia Indiana University Medical School 1967-70.
Did clinical anesthesia at the National Institutes of Health 1970-72. Practiced private cardiac anesthesia from 1972 until retirement 1998 in Memphis Tennessee. Associate professor of Anesthesia University of Tennessee Medical School 1992
until retirement. At the present time on the boards of the Sebastopol Rotary Education Foundation and The Blood Bank of the Redwoods.

Barbara Greytak
Ms. Greytak holds a BA degree in History from the University of Dallas and began her business career in 1967 working for L.T.V. Aerospace.  In 1969 she relocated to New York City to work for American Airlines.  During the next eight years her responsibilities included customer relations, staff development and direct field supervision of forty six international staff.  In addition to her supervisory duties, she acted as liaison between overseas managers and the home office in maintaining and expanding American's international market.  In 1977 she assumed the position of Vice President of Operations for Allen Technologies (ATI) an interactive information network company in healthcare.  Ms. Greytak retired from ATI in March of 2007.

Jacqua Miller
Jacqua is a Registered Securities Representative and an Enrolled Agent. She has 20 years experience in finance and taxation. She is also a former senior center director. 

Virginia Proehl
BS degree, University of Illinois, UCLA graduate studies, certified in Special Education, University of Bordeaux.  Served for six years as a member of the Fulbright Committee in Germany responsible for choosing scholars from Germany to attend schools of higher learning in the United States.  As the wife of a member of the Foreign Service, acted as hostess to various dignitaries while stationed in Norway and Germany.  Acted as Dean of Women to students who were part of the California Student Abroad Program in France. Past President of IMPACT, a local service organization.

Alain Serkissian
Bachelor degree in Math and Physics; Graduated from the University of Marseille as a Physical Therapist; Graduated from the University of Montpellier, France with a PHD degree as a Senior Instructor in Physical Therapy. Passed the California State Exam as a Registered Physical Therapist. Worked in a private practice in Pinole, California for about 10 years. While working in the private practice, he started a rehabilitation company which grew to 165 employees in 26 different settings. In 1988 he became an Administrator of a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. He owns Mirabel Lodge in Forestville which will soon have 34 beds. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Sebastopol.

Kathleen Shaffer
      Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, began career teaching the hearing impaired, then moved on to business ownership in partnership with husband. 
      Currently is significantly involved as a community/political activist. Board Member Rebuilding Together - Sebastopol, Board Member Palm Drive Foundation, member of the Rotary Club of Sebastopol Sunrise, President - Sonoma County Democracy for America, Elected Member from the 5th  District - Sonoma County Democratic Central Committee. Earned Master's Degree from the University of San Francisco.
