First Thursday of each month, 10 a.m., Third Street Cinemas

The Free Seniors Movie Series will begin on Nov. 3, 2016, at the Third Street Cinemas in downtown Santa Rosa.

A choice of four movies will be shown on the first Thursday of each month at 10 a.m., and will continue through June 7, 2017. No tickets are needed, and the doors open at 9:30 a.m.

For a list of the four movie titles for each month, call the Third Street Cinemas Recording the week of the Series: 707-525-8909 x 2. The movies are free for seniors 60 and older. Flyers are on distributed to the senior centers.

The Third Street Cinemas is located at 620 Third Street between Santa Rosa Avenue and D Street (behind the Third Street Aleworks). It is only 1-1/2 blocks from the downtown Transit Mall, where all city & county buses arrive and depart.

There are also two parking garages close by — one directly across from the Theatre (no elevator), and the other around the corner on D Street (basically, behind the Theatre).
