New program director brings five years experience in nonprofit, area senior center

Newly hired program director brings five years’ of experience in the nonprofit world most recently working in an area senior center.

Katie Davis comes to the Sebastopol Area Senior Center previously working as a program coordinator at Vintage House Senior Center in Sonoma. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia, and began a career in the non-profit industry there. After moving to the Bay Area in 2013, she began working on her Master’s Degree in Public Administration/Nonprofit Management at Sonoma State University.

Additionally, she has worked for over 15 years in the customer service industry and is a self-proclaimed people person. She enjoys spending time with her dog, Bella, playing in the Russian River, and enjoying the wonderful food and wine industry in Sonoma County.
