Brian Ledig has lived in Sonoma County for 30+ years and has an extensive familiarity with the area weather patterns, wells and septic and individual beauty of our beautiful County. While not limited to, he is a Registered Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and has particular expertise in this area. Seniors Real Estate Specialist – Trained in special needs and concerns of seniors; Monthly contributor – Wisdom Counts a monthly senior newsletter and online blog; Next Door Neighborhood – a network of 358 homes in our area.

Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Stanford University, private practice of law for 38 years, now semi-retired. Served in many positions of Kiwanis International including Club President, Division Lt. Governor, and various District positions. Past member of Board of Directors of March of Dimes, Northern California Region. One of the founders and presently Board of Directors of Kids One, Inc., a nonprofit child safety organization. Former Director of Salvation Army and former Director of San Mateo County Legal Aid Society, and San Mateo County Bar Association.

Gene Bonino
Gene Bonino, Sonoma County realtor and retired import industry executive, has spent most of his working life successfully managing and developing sales and sales staffs across the United States.

Gene had a 14-year career as Senior Vice President with Peking Handicraft, Inc., a South San Francisco-based Chinese import company dealing primarily in textiles and linens. He introduced a new home, garden, and gift division. This division, Annie’s Treasures, is still successfully operating.

A native of McAlester, Oklahoma, Gene attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. Gene is currently a realtor with Vanguard Properties in Sebastopol, and is married to Will Brown in life and real estate. Gene and Will specialize in West Sonoma County properties.

Gene was on the Board of Food for Thought and served as board president. Gene has also been involved with Face to Face, NorBAR, NAR, CAR, and RE Government Board. Gene’s interests are cooking, reading, travel, theater, and his Indian heritage.

Graduated from University of Evansville (IN) with BA 1962, Indiana University Medical School 1966, internship San Bernadino CA General Hospital 1966-67, residency in Anesthesia Indiana University Medical School 1967-70. Did clinical anesthesia at the National Institutes of Health 1970-72. Practiced private cardiac anesthesia from 1972 until retirement 1998 in Memphis Tennessee. Associate Professor of Anesthesia University of Tennessee Medical School 1992 until retirement. Served on the boards of the Sebastopol Rotary Education Foundation and The Blood Bank of the Redwoods.

Bill Phillips, Immediate Past President
Native Californian – born in Burbank, brought up in Fullerton. Graduated from University of Santa Clara in 1968 in Civil Engineering; earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University in 1972. Founding Principal of Summit Engineering in Santa Rosa in 1980; retired in 2006. He has been Involved in fundraising with the Sonoma County YMCA for over 25 years. He has been a member of the State Board of Directors of the Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors of California for over 20 years. He currently participates with the Inter-Church Food Pantry of Sebastopol. He has been married to Dale for 39 years; has a daughter, son and three grandkids.

Phyllis Sutter
Phyllis is the Sonoma County Director for Hired Hands Homecare, Inc. Phyllis has been working in the Senior Services industry since 2009. Prior to 2009, Phyllis worked for almost 28 years in the real estate industry as a Sales and Marketing Director in the title business. Phyllis is a California native-born in San Jose and has lived in Sonoma County since she was three years old. Phyllis has one daughter and lives with her husband John Sutter in the Santa Rosa Junior College area.

Cynthia Quinn
Since 1994, Cynthia has learned from and moved up the ranks at recognized organizations providing superior products and world-class customer service. United Services Automobile Association (USAA), Vision Service Plan (VSP), Comfort Keepers a member of the Sodexo family, and Trendwest Resorts/Worldmark The Club to name a few. She receives great satisfaction providing top-notch service and leading a team that strives to make a positive difference advocating for the best quality of life, focusing on opportunities of improvement involving seniors, children, and animals.

As of January 2015, she began her current role as General Manager and managing owner of Comfort Keepers serving Napa and Sonoma counties. Comfort Keepers is a growing international franchise network offering personal care, homemaker-companion care, and other care services allowing individuals to remain in the privacy and comfort of their own homes.

Alain Serkissian
Bachelor degree in Math and Physics; Graduated from the University of Marseille as a Physical Therapist; Graduated from the University of Montpellier, France with a PHD degree as a Senior Instructor in Physical Therapy. Passed the California State Exam as a Registered Physical Therapist. Worked in a private practice in Pinole, California for about 10 years. While working in the private practice, he started a rehabilitation company which grew to 165 employees in 26 different settings. In 1988 he became an Administrator of a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. He owns Mirabel Lodge in Forestville which will soon have 34 beds. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Sebastopol.
