Hinman Jensen Gardens

  • Sebastopol Area Senior Center 167 North High Street Sebastopol, CA, 95472 United States (map)

Here in Sebastopol on a hilltop in the middle of an oak woodland sits a farm of secluded gardens overlooking the Laguna.

On this hilltop, Artisans of Sebastopol developed a wild corridor that preserves the woods.

Gregg Lowrey, owner of “Friends of Vintage Roses,” created gardens of historical plants including roses, bearded irises, shrubs and perennials.

A food forest was created by permaculture artisans.

Sebastopol Senior Center Day Trippers have been invited exclusively to join the owners and creators as well as Gregg Lowrey on a 60-to-90-minute tour of the gardens to relax and enjoy the beauty as well as to learn the history of historical flowers.

After the tour, lunch on your own, the patio at Willow Wood Restaurant in downtown Graton.
