FOOD RESOURCE PROGRAMS IN SEBASTOPOL:

1. Council on Aging: Meals on Wheels if you are unable to drive, and are unable to get out to buy food, Council on Aging can help you by delivering meals to your home. Please call 707-525-0143 to apply for their Meals on Wheels program.

Drive Up Pick Up: Pick up meals prepared by Council on Aging outside the Sebastopol Area Senior Center. The meals are like you have been getting. The weekly date and time for this is Thursdays from 10am-12pm. Please call 707-525-0142 x121 to register for this program.

2. The Sebastopol Christian Church at 7433 Bodega Ave Sebastopol, offers free lunches Monday - Thursday 9am - 1pm. Ring the doorbell. They also offer free hot breakfast Monday & Thursday, 7am to 11am. Call the church at 707.823.8242 or visit www.sebchristian.com/barnabas

3. Food distribution from the Inter-Church Food Pantry is at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, located at 500 Robinson Road in Sebastopol. They provide staples and groceries on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-12pm. For questions, call the message line at 707-823-2483.

4. The Redwood Empire Food Bank offers free food distribution at these locations and times:

  • SEBASTOPOL CENTER FOR THE ARTS: 282 S. High St, Sebastopol, 2nd & 4th Thursday, 4 - 5 pm

  • MONTE RIO COMMUNITY CENTER, 20488 CA-116, Monte Rio, on Wednesday, 3 - 4:30pm

  • SANTA ROSA VETS MEMORIAL BUILDING 1351 Maple Ave, Santa Rosa on Thursday from 9 - 10am

5. Get groceries delivered to your home by using www.instacart.com/ (fees associated with this service)

6. Get help paying for groceries. Apply for CalFresh benefits by calling the Food Connections team at the Redwood Empire Food Bank at 707-523-7903.

7. Visit www.getfood.refb.org to find more food distribution locations or call 707-523-7903. All food is free, and all are welcome.

8. Saint Vincent De Paul Society offers monthly groceries for anyone in need. The food pantry is located at St Sebastian Catholic Church, 7983 Covert Lane, Sebastopol. Groceries can be picked up Monday - Saturday by appointment only. Please call 707-623-1051 and leave a message. Someone will call you back who can meet you at the pantry with groceries.”

  • Medically tailored meals to meet the nutritional needs of people with chronic and acute illnesses such as diabetes,  hypertension,  coronary  artery  disease, congestive heart  failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic kidney disease and more. 

  • 7-21 healthy, beautiful, delicious and home-delivered  meals per week, and up to 24 weeks of meals. 

  • Free or low-cost meals, depending on your income level

10. Folks with Covid can call Food For Thought (707-887-1647) to get free food delivered for them AND their family 

11. Come eat lunch in our new Harvest Café, at the Sebastopol Senior Center. Re-opening in late summer due to remodel of kitchen.
