Free Rides Program

A Volunteer Driver Transportation program

In partnership with the Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging, our dedicated volunteers provide essential rides for West Sonoma County residents aged 60 and better. Whether it’s getting to a medical appointment or to the grocery store, we ensure our seniors get where they need to go — safely and reliably. Volunteers drivers are thoroughly vetted. To request a ride or sign up to be a volunteer, please contact Aubri Lane, SASC Transportation Coordinator at (707) 829-2449.

I always feel comfortable, safe, and at ease, and I feel an affinity with the drivers which makes each ride special and memorable. - Mary Lou

Free Rides Program

The Sebastopol Area Senior Center's Free Rides program includes our Volunteer Driver Program as well as the Cycling Without Age program (AKA Trishaw) designed to get seniors out in nature on a three-wheeled bike, piloted by trained volunteers.
