Programs
Dedicated to the well-being of all elders
The Sebastopol Area Senior Center is a progressive community hub dedicated to helping adults 60+ find connection, purpose, and joy in aging. Our programs support healthy, engaged, and curious living, and are designed to strengthen social ties and inspire a sense of possibility at every stage of life. We invite you to explore the many resources, classes, and activities we offer — all created with inclusivity, wellness, and community in mind, and open to both members and non-members.
If you haven’t already, consider becoming a member. You’ll join a vibrant and growing community of older adults while enjoying discounted rates on classes, services, and events. We’d love to have you with us.
Cycling Without Age is rooted in generosity, kindness, and the simple power of human connection. It starts when a volunteer takes one or two elderly or less-abled passengers out for a bike ride—a small act that makes a big difference. Schedule a ride or sign up to volunteer as a pilot.
The center offers balance classes twice a week. Virtual balance classes, seated balance classes, a bi-annual lecture series, fall risk screenings, medical foot care, Tai Chi, partnerships with the Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging's Matter of Balance Program, and various other exercise and fitness programs. Sign up today!
If you are 60+, live in West Sonoma County, and need help getting to medical, social service, or shopping appointments, call us seven days before your appointment. All rides are free and based on volunteer availability.

"The Sebastopol Senior Center is a wonderful place for my disabled husband and I to meet people, make friends, and feel that we are a part of something. At almost 80, we are still able to learn, and go on trips all over the Bay Area, something we couldn't do on our own. The senior center is a godsend to us and to our many friends.” — Emily Webster
