Meet Sister Sorenda 'da Booty
Abbess of the Order
Spreading Joy & Expiating Guilt for Over 15 Years
-
Tell us About Yourself:
“I’m Sister Sorenda ‘da Booty, proud Abbess of the Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. For over 15 years, I’ve dedicated my life to the Order’s sacred vows — to promulgate universal joy and expiate stigmatic guilt.”
“One of my greatest joys each year is seeing the smiles of our beautiful community as we walk together in the Holiday Parade of Lights in Guerneville. Visibility matters — especially now, when forces in the political climate are trying to undo the good work we do and silence the love we represent.”
“Over the years, I’ve had the blessing of serving as Bingo Chairnun, leading our Holiday Toy Drive, hosting Storytime with the Sisters, and managing our Website, Newsletter, and many other joyful programs. Every event, every laugh, every hug shared reminds me of why we do this work — because love and visibility save lives.”
